New to me boat has 2007 150 EFI - motor - good or bad?

Found the hull I wanted (pristine Lowe Tahiti 220 Aluminum deck boat- TOO much room and light weight 22' @ 1400 lbs dry weight) We have a older well loved Tahiti now-
The new Tahiti is equipped with a 2007 150 hp EFI - I have rebuilt a number of EFIs back as carbs because of the simplicity of carb fuel system. I have no experience with EFI system other than taking them off blown motors- normally appears to be lean out on one piston. So not over welling fan of EFIs. I did run one for a summer- it was OK - started quick but other than that not much different than carb.
I have a very nice 2004 XR6 which I could put on the new Tahiti - it has good compression and leak down.

Question is since I am very familiar with carbs and not with EFI - which engine 2007 EFI or 2004 XR6? I do see some value in keeping 2007 hull and 2007 motor together.

One of these motors (EFI or XR6 or maybe '98 175 2.5 noted below) will be for sale after Thanksgiving

The '99 Tahiti with '98 175 2.5 (or one of the above motors) will also be for sale after Thanksgiving-

Both the 150 EFI and the XR6 are 2.5L motors. Are the gearcases the same size? Some XR6 had a smaller gearcase. You would be better off with the bigger case.

The 150 efi is a sweet motor. Opti style front end, 555 electronics, no plastic oil pump gear. No comparison to the old carb motor. Run it, or sell it to me.

I will go with EFI- as much because of keeping the rig all 2007 as anything- Guess I need to get out the book and find out how to winterize it-
So oil pump is not an issue ?

It oils electronically like an opti. No gears at all.

Never really had any issues with those Motors. They get a little chuggy if the injectors get drippy but they run really nice. That last run from 05 to 08 were really strong too
