Weight of complete midsection
If you replace a 20-inch bass mid and three-ram clamp bracket with a 20-inch offshore mid and single-ram midsection, how much have you increased the overall weight of your boat? Talking Mercury 2.5L here.

I've done it many times,but never weighed it,I think Merc said the ridgeback,in the day was 12-15lbs heavier with the offshore clamp,but most older 2.4's ran the offshore clamp,even 150-200's

Never weighed them both... and the OS mid has the trim pump in the boat... And the OS mid is still heavier.. this is just from picking them up mind you, no scale, just grunt!!!
What is your application? Or why do you want it?
