    Stratos ASX help

I recently purchased a Stratos ASX with an 03 225 Evinrude ho on it. Currently it runs 71 mph at 5800 RPMs at 2.25 in below the pad with a 27 tempest . The motor has been fresh rebuilt and compression is prefect, I know this boat is capable of much more but I'm not sure where to start on setup. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I had the same set up. I ran a 28 Raker with the propshaft 1.5 inches below the bottom I would run right at 6000rpm and 80mph. Watch your water pressure. At that set up I was right on the edge of overheat. After a nose job I felt better having good pressure.

Were you running the lightning lower unit before the nose cone? That's what I have on mine right now.

I was running the lightning. Nose inlets didn't get me any speed just less nervous running that high. I was always worried about low water pressure.
