trying to find out if I have a mod vp or a Bridgeport

hi guys need some help if possible I have recently got a engine was told it was a carbed Bridgeport 2.4 200 I looked the serial number up looks like to me it mite be a mod vp the serial number is c175673 89 model if anyone can tell me what it is for sure I would really appreciate it thanks Sam

Does it have a factory low water pick up and a short mid section 15 inch?

mod vp could be either bp or oval port... most carb were oval port

originated as hi perf. 20" 2.4 carb with cle... can't tell if oval port or bridge port with what I got?

carb BP was 220... carb oval port was 200... look on tha welsh plug.. some of tha oval ports had "200" stamped there as they were jus naked production... ..

pull a head......

well Matt I have two a 68 and a 64 my buddy has a 67 and 66 we both have a T model and both have X model witch is a all out race boat and i was wondering if u could tell me where the Welsh plug is located kind of new to this but love to go fast

Mike has 3 old powercat he is a member of our group he needs to bring them to our meet one year the group has a Rendezvous called who let da cats outs ever year in Arkansas been doing it for 9 years now it's always nice to see all these old cats together
