    crank shaft party....

My wife never undestood my joy in getting a crank out of an old merc. I was at junk yard today and got a merc 1000 ph. The old motors are hard on cranks. Water from the lower seal. Well the crank was nogo.....spent 1 hr pulling a motor apart for nnnnn.I still like old stuff and will pound on the top of a junk pile.....DS....

New style L4 crank...handfulll....L4 block.... two hands.110 block one hand.....newer 115 rev limit 5250..110 till it blows....on a light boat.....
