Also u r set up for ruffer water than these x motors. My opinion is u get a nice jump from bridge to just east of Indian island. N the x motors just don’t have ehnough time to reel u in......it can go either way pending water conditions but recently they favor your set up....smart for what water your running through about 60 % of that run so I say as far as you go 50% smarts and 50% skill. B proud of yourself. More power to ya

It will on a ruff day vs a x w 15 inch of setback I’ve heard the best wheelman on the island not name dropping and bender won. I heard if it was another 100 ft or so the results would b different but at that east side buey of amity cut bender got there 1st

I was there at the finish line and saw it with my own eyes. Bender took the ruff water all the way there and won. Great job bud. Conditions play a huge roll and year after year, from the Hot Toddy to the king of the cut Bender pulls it out. Much respect! I do have one of his trophies though

Lot of great boats and drivers. All have their own nitch. If "the best wheel man on the Island" ran the ruff the whole way who knows what would happened, that's the cool thing about this get together. Run what ya brung and have fun. My guess with those boats with those drivers, Bender would have had a bigger lead but what do I know

Well 15 he won no one really realing him in. It was ‘13 or ‘14 that he was getting realed in by said driver as the story goes if it was another 100-150 ft he woulda lost but he was first to buey. Race went just like was told bender was X amount of space ahead of said boat at somewhere between anchorage and Indian island n said boat just didn’t have ehnough time to catch up.....ice tea anyone? If u don’t know what that means please don’t ask
