    constant alarm 08 300xs

hey guys, need a little help. once in a while, although more frequently lately, constant alarm when running wide open. when i back off it goes away, sometimes takes 10-20 secs. water pressure is great 15 lbs, temp is good 150, right about 6500 rpms, rev limit is 6850, any ideas?

I thought the rev limiters on 300XS were 6350 .. has the computer been modified/reflashed?

Are you reading pressure from a gauge or smartcraft "which tells you what the computer is seeing"? its that or you are on the limiter.

rev limit is 5800 on 25 inch 300xs. 6400 on 20 inch 300xs. if you are at 6500 that is reason for alarm. it should go into safe mode shortly after warning alarm. when it does it will not rev over 2500 until you shut it off and restart it.
