New 2018 SEB 30' and 36' Cat boats

We acquired the original Jay Pilini designed 30 and 36 foot Spectre Cats molds. We did not acquire the Spectre company, Spectre name and are not affiliated with the Spectre Boat company in any way. About us, most companies start off building canoes and work their way up into the high performance boat ranks. We started off building World Champion F1, F2 tunnel outboard boats, outboard drag boats in the 90's and now the very popular Talon 22 boats. We have been very active in the Hi Performance boating scene our whole lives. Our boats are all built with the latest in technology materials and best installation methods available, no balsa, no wood, 100% composite materials. We work hand in hand with the best Composite Companies out there to produce the best products. We are also very fortunate to have had Mercury Racing with us since 1992. There are no open build slots left for 2017 and only a few left for 2018. For more information, please go to our website www.screamingeagleboats.com or contact Karen at karen@screamingeagleboats.com for pricing. Thank you

Congratulations on the acquisition of some more fine boating technology. Suggestion for all the outboard powered you build from personal experience:
With the hatch opening to the stern as most do, it makes working on the engines while having access to the pumps, batteries, etc. difficult.
If the hatch were seamed down the center, front to back and opened out to the sides it may make life a little easier. Besides, then I could buy the
power hinges from you when I mod mine. :-)

After having several Spectre's myself, I can not agree with you more. We plan to make them open from the center to the outside of the boat. To many times I needed to the back of my I/O boats and the hatch was a real pain in the rear.

And if you wanted to promote this model I wouldn't put out that there was only a few spots left for 2018. Just my 2 cents

I'd rather a builder be honest & meet expectations than bull**** me & string me along & upset me.

We decided for 2018 that we are only going to build 15 boats. This year was brutal on my crew and I. My crew averaged 70 hours a week this year. In this type of business and this kind of work, that is to hard on them. We had so much repair work that we are really behind on new builds now, so that is why we have decided to only build so many of each model to keep the quality where I want it and not kill my crew. That is all I am trying to say by only having so many slots open. Thanks Todd

The 36 coupled with the new merc 860 package would be a really nice rig. I had 575s in mine and always wished it had just a little more. Looking forward to seeing these back in action, Jay really made a splash in the market when they were introduced and I never had a complaint with either of mine. If you guys are able to maintain price points, you will be very busy for a long time. Your statement above says a lot Todd. You are trying to protect the guys that you have and not do the typical "burn them up and replace" practice that so many employers do. The boat building/body work is not easy and it takes people that can work together and experience is what you need. Putting new labor in the mix seems to set you back more often then not.

That 36 with newer light weight composite construction, a wrap-around windshield, and twin 400's would be a pretty sweet package. <----- How much for this?

Karen does all the pricing. Drop her an email at karen@screamingeagleboats.com. The first one we are doing is that combo, so she can get you a pretty accurate quote. Thanks
