Trim Tab Needed for 70 hp Evinrude

I have a 1996 70 Evinrude with a 24" prop and the prop hits the trim tab. Where can I get a trim tab that wont interfere with the prop rotation? Thanks in advance...TJ

millions of them around, ebay or any marina shop .

I wouldn't bother putting one on, ive got mine on at the moment but when I next take it off it will be staying off.
they do next to nothing, and a tab on the skeg is much better.

some people get the older ones that are zinc etc and just cut the tab bit off, this way they still have anode but no tab.

any chance of a picture of the prop you got , sounds like it must have huge amount of rake to hit the tab..
My srx is miles away from it
