Info on Dieter Schulze boat building career

Hi Lars did this lady drive with her husband as a team I am sure they came to Chasewater in the UK they drove a Schulze boat then around 1970/71 the lady driver flew the boat I had never seen a boat go so high before.

I did talk to Heidi Blomberg and she told me they raced in Chasewater 1970. She collided with an Italian race driver after her steering cable broke. The Italians was upset but the Brittish people helped them repair so she could continie racing.

This would be the first time Molinari came to race in the UK he brought a 2 boat team Rasini drove the other boat I am sure Molinaris boat had brakes on and he spun out going round a buoy when the other boat had contact with him.

That was the race Don Ross and I won at Chasewater . It was on the back of the two 24hr races and the 500 miler-------that 17' Molinari was the best boat to come out of Como in 1970. Far quicker than the boat Renato and I drove in Paris.
