The right way to check the output of the ignition system is with a DVA adapter (~$50) on the voltmeter. You can then check voltage levels as the rpm is increased. I fixed a lot of "fuel" problems with a new stator

I got a chance to check hitting enricher- it will rev up to 1500- then boggs down it I push throttle futher- Except if I hit enricher- that makes it stumble even worse- but right after doinmg that I can get it to rev on up past 4000k - no enricher- this was repeatedly tested with motor in the water- boat strapped to trailer-
