Merc 40a regulator block off plate

I have 2 '89 200hp and would like to switch out the water cooled 40 amp voltage regulators, 1 motor already has the CDI 4 wire stator. Does anyone have/make the Mercury water cooled 40 amp voltage regulator block off plate (PN# 19380)?

Maybe just pickup a second hand divider plate, save you the hassle of makin a plate

Thanks! Now what divider will fit? I have 2.4L blocks, will a 2.5L divider work or do I need to go with pre 1988 16A divider?

If you have the lost foam style heads, then I think a 2.5 plate should work. That regulator was used on the first of the 2.5s as well as the last of the 2.4s. I changed my 2.5 over to the twin regulator/rectifier setup and then I could charge two batteries at once

2.4, 2.5 won't swap... completely different.. gotta use tha 16 amp or fab a plate ta cover tha "hole"..
