1990 24 skater hull and trailer 24000

I have a 1990 24 skater rigged for mercury was rigged with 280s great boat needs nothing (vinylester) boat no tanks issues has seat moved forward. Everything is color matched in the boat I did remove the 280 high pressure pumps and changed to low pressure sump system. 2004 Owens and sons trailer 727 237 6443 Ryan. Pictures in post below

How old are the pics you posted? Guess it used to have Etecs and now its rigged for Merc's?

Why does a vinylester tank not pose a problem?

The etecs are still on the boat right now I have adapters plugged in to merc harnesses. It doesn't effect the rigging in any way

If you do some research all the tank problems are from about 1991-2 when they switched to epoxy resin it doesn't hold up to ethanol. I run non ethanol fuel but that's more for piece of mind.

So only 2 years had issues with tanks?

Is the hull layup yellow or green? Look under the dash to check...Yellow=epoxy...Green=vinylester...Hope this helps...

I don't think so and according to my reading even the tanks with vinylester have flaking and leakage problems ALTHO this can be a bigger problem with epoxy and the useage of ethanol. For info purposes only I called Skater last week and to replace the tanks using a resin that want react with ethanol on a 1990 32' would be 11k.

No every boat built after 1991-2 was built using epoxy resin.

My skate is a 1991 peter said no tank issues .so untrue.9mo later big tank issues.ehtHanol eats almost all.good stuff .tanks done mission accomplished.good luck/red rocket out

Boat also comes with full cover and cockpit cover both are in very good shape. will also trade for another boat twin or single engine let me know what you have.
