Mercury Pistons, or?
Hi all..
I've created a winter/garage project, going through my 2000 90HP 2-stroke (love that motor). I have a question on pistons. There are a few choices, one is OEM and others I find compelling is "Mercury 75-90-125HP 94-06 L3 L4 ProV Piston Kit " by Marine Pro. Or perhaps the Wiseco (which I have heard good and bad)?
My lack of experience with any of the piston manufacturers other than OEM keeps me from making an informed decision.
Thanks..

The pro-v is a very good piston, good substitute for oem.

Second that on the pro-v. Never a problem on the ones I have purchased from Pro Marine.

Thanks much for the replies..
So, if you all had a choice, OEM or Pro-V?

Personally, I would go with the pro-v because I can get them at a good price. Also have had zero failures with them that where because of piston failures/ flaws.
