2.4 Bridgeport with steel sleeves
Picked up this efi Bridgeport been sitting for eight years pevious owner was told it had low compression. I pulled heads cylinders are all steel sleeves with light maring type marks. Has wiseco pistons that looks like someone hand did the flat spots for the bridge, they're not consistent piston to piston. I would like to buy wiseco's from John Marles that he has top pinned and modded with oil hole and flat sides. Does anyone know what the cylinder tollerances are on standard bore? Appreciate any input

If you are buying new pistons anyway and the cylinder are not perfect why not just bore it so as to make it a new motor. You might also want to reconsider the Wiseco as there are better choices available. My last steel sleeve Bridgeport was runner. Great motors.
