    Desireability/market for 04 gold block 250xs's?

I have a boat with triple 250xs's that I'm considering repowering. Approx. 500 hours good compression engines run great. Is there a market for them and if so what do you think they would sell for - Thanks Rich

Good market for them, at a good price. They are 13 yrs old though. I would guess 5-6k if in nice shape with updated compressors etc. If old original compressors take away some...I am guessing saltwater motors and 20'' length. torque master lowers. This is just my 2cts.

Nice ready to run motors for somebody then....25'' is not a real problem or a plus. Just depends on the boat the buyer has. Might go for 6k plus ea. if super clean. Book value might be higher idk, hard to get book money for older motors. Merc racing motors bring in more buyers though. Still old motors, but some don't care like myself..All I buy is older motors. Can't afford new stuff.....Put them in the buy and sell for book value and look at offers.....

I bought a 2004 250xs, 20" with TM case a couple years ago. Freshwater bass boat motor. Ran good but very dirty. Paid $4,000 for it. Took it all apart and painted it. Looks like new now and is on my 21 Rallysport. Only problem is they need 91 octane up till 2006.
