Now if you could just figure out what to do about that pesky shift shaft that goes down thru the exhaust plate and than down the steering tube. Might be a problem.

Knock the roll pin out of the shift shaft arm up top and pull the shift shaft out through the bottom..... But ya still need to pull the powerhead to get to the top mount nuts (13)

Maybe he will get lucky and have a single piece with solid upper mounts If all the planets would just align.

you cannot get at the nuts, its powerhead off job.
while at it put in solid mounts and forget about them and have nice tight motor.

I appreciate the offer, but its a 20" bass mid

This will be a good winter project, only a month or so left of boating season
If I have this whole thing apart definitely will add solid mounts & maybe reeds

If you have metal reeds replace them before they go threw your motor.
