    Hey, next time ur at steves ask him to look in that box of NOS merc pistons he bought at dania.. I know most were 2.4 but I know there were some other l pistons in boxes u may get lucky.. Dave

    That's exactly what I need, but .015 over. I just ordered 1 from the dealer, worst case it's 20% to send it back

    IT doesn't matter what the picture looks like in the parts list, the 125 was the last conventional crossflow and the 135 was the first Direct Charge and did not have the "power port". That is one of several differences between the 135 and the 140.

    The eyebrow is a pretty BIG difference in porting where differences are considered in increments of .001's

    Can I ask, the direct charge still only had transfers across from the ex ?

    So far I'm finding most of the original Mercury part numbers seceded to 1 part number. I ordered it and will let everyone know. I agree, port timing changes in a larger engine of .020 are very noticeable.

    The latest supercession of the 1350 piston is Ng, seaway pulled one and it has the notch. I did just call wiseco, they didn't see a problem with skipping machining the notch. They are going to have a manager call me tomorrow to set up an order

    He told me it's usually a minimum of 12. In this case because all they are doing is leaving a machining process out at the end there is no minimum
