Opti injector open fault. Injector/cylinder fine
I have a 99 200 opti that always has code #69 (#6 inj open) but the motor is running fine on #6 can do a cyl drop test and it's equal to all other cyl. Swapped injectors with no change, still shows fault on #6. Ohm test from plug to ECM is great. Cleaned all grounds.
Only other issue with motor is a dead Direct injector on #4 (it is the actual injector, waiting on replacements)

Driver "seems" to be working fine. Firing the inj off, has spark, runs fine. Didn't even know it had am issue till I hooked the computer to it.

Code is always active? did you try clearing the code and see if it comes back? Could be an intermittent wire or connector problem.

Could also check resistance from ECM for other injectors and they should be about the same. Don't know how Mercury determines open circuit but some cars I worked on used resistance

Take the connector loose and disassemble it. One of the pins inside the connector is probably broken where it is crimped on the wire. Or you can just replace the connector. Go to your local parts store and tell them you need a connector for a late model GM air conditioner.
