But we have a member here that has already done that.....

Has a bunny as a co pilot. Seen a picture of him doing it in his Stream, but a search for it came up empty.

Back in the late 70's, Evinrude sponsored outboard motors to the Jacque Cousteau Society for their new 15' inflatable Zodiaks. 50 hp, I believe. We rigged up three boats and were asked to put some break-in hours and basically make sure they ran well before they took off on their round the world adventures. We spent a whole day running open ocean waters, Waikiki and surfing "Point Panic" which was at the opening to Honolulu's commercial boat basin. This area was well known for the sharks that frequented the area due to the fish guts that were cleaned off the big fishing boats prior to entering home port. We only flipped one boat. Yikes!!! The movie, Jaws, had only came out a year or so earlier....... Was quite a hoot other than something nipping at your toes..Body surfing was never the same!! .DAH, Dunt!!

Boat is basically a very typical Dive Boat
Designed to carry 12 with all diving gear
Run anything from 2*60 merc Bigfoots 2 stroke to 2 * 140 Suzuki 4 strokes
About 8m craft
Launching with full crew is very often directly straight through what they surfing down.
Can be very sketchy
You tend to work out very quickly who the good skippers are, and who not to go to sea with
