It's rolled toward the face of the blade mostly at the widest point of the blade. It's like a slow rolling cup.

It's not always needed, just mainly for props that have issues cavitating and blowing out. I had a chopper that was horrible getting up, it would flash 7k on take off. I rolled it and knocked it down 4500 and took off much better. Each prop is different just gotta find what each likes.

there seems to be a mix up her e on what some call the face of the prop.
the face is the side near the prop nut, the back of the blade is nearest the gearcase.
here is what I think a rolled edge should be, turned down at the leading edge , also adding a touch of pitch..
American v European v English are all different when it comes to prop terms..

Rolled upwards ????
now I am confused, this is going to slow the top speed by a fair bit surely ?
this is making it a progressive pitch prop.
this will be dead easy to do to my prop, just make a strong piece of metal the right shape, clamp it to the prop and bash it
with a lightweight copper head hammer, then polish it back up..
I will give it a try.
sometimes the things that look very wrong are the things that work

That's correct, it's does give you progressive pitch. It usually raises rpm some but I havnt noticed much drop in speed. My fastest prop to date (SRX) had it done to it. Havnt been able to duplicate that prop since though

That prop looks very nice.
I have the same srx /silver streak 388884 and have polished it to a mirror finish. I realy did not like the original omc silver metallic finish .
To me it made the prop look cheap and nasty. I do think it was worth the time and effort to make it look nice and shiny.
since putting in tip cup I now have to re=polish it !!!!
but if I attempt (note attempt) putting in a rolled edge I might wait till thats done before polishing again.
.
got its cup on the trailing edge nice.

Looks like your prop was made for a Nitro gearcase, probably too much exhaust gases ventilating your blades.
Anything you can do about the big washer in front of the prop? Your prop is a flow through designed and looks blocked off.
