Asking for some prayers please
My Father suffered a stroke today, being operated on as I type, Dad got me into boating from the time I was 4. I'm not ready to let go of him just yet, if you could remember him in your prayers tonight I would be grateful. His name is Jim.

Dad got released today, not sure what the long term effects are going to be, he appears to be himself, he can talk fine, the main thing is that he is still with us, call me selfish, not ready to be done with him just yet.

Hi Chris, great news!!! They say the most critial thing when you have a stroke is to get to the hospital ASAP!!! If he can talk and has no paralysis, I would think he would be good. He needs to be and I am sure is on blood thinners. I take aspirin everyday!!!
BTW, I wish I could have been greedy. And you are never ready.
