New ride
I decided it was time to move on to a bigger boat so I sold my Rapidcraft and boat a 27' Fountain Fever with a 525SC and an imco shorty. Really loving it so far. Just picked it up on Saturday.

Good looking rig--They are nice hull in that size V-bottom. I used to run with a guy named Jim Valeko in West Michigan (he had a true 100 mph 27 back in the mid 90's) and broke a lot of egos with that thing. He would be a great resource if you decide to bump things up with it. His was named (Heads Up).

Congrats. I had a -93 27 with race fairing, 525SC and -2 imco for 10 years.
The 525SC is really nice power for the 27.
Guessing you will see 75+ mph.

I can't say specifically how this boat will run but my Velocity 26 (26/280) with a heavily breathed on 461ci NA motor (560HP) and a standard bravo drive ran 87 MPH with a labbed 26 Bravo prop. Fountain 27's and Velocity 280's run pretty close, power for power, it's all in the setup and driver.
