1987 Hydrostream Valero YT Project 17'9 With trailer $500!!!!
This Valero was purchased with the intention of replacing the core and stringers....the hull had several cracks routed out from the previous owner but never finished. My wife said absolutely no projects ...so its got to go. Boat is complete...interior is decent and everything seemed to work. Transom is rock solid. Boat came rigged with a low hour 175hp Merc which runs great but I will separate (ENGINE IS SOLD).
Decent trailer included. I have papers on boat and trailer.....If you want to see some specific pics, let me know.....
Boat is in Stamford CT. right next to I-95........let me here some offers!!!!Last edited by mran; 08-21-2017 at 08:55 AM.

OK....update, so I have completely removed the old floor and core...but don't have time to finish and really don't need it sitting around.
If anyone is looking for a project open bow Valero...hit me up. I will let you steal this thing. Boat and trailer. If you want a fresh 1996 Merc 175HP..that would be extra!

Well, I thought it was sold but life events change everything.......so this Valero YT is back for sale.... Boat and Trailer.....$500!!!! I have about $1300 in Epoxy, 1708 Glass, and Core Material I can include for additional $$! This interior is about a 7 of 10 and is complete. Boat has dual steering, 19 gallon tank, full instrumentation. Trailer is road worthy....some rust but nothing major..... More pics soon....

I had a window where I could have made the shipping work but it has closed now. Good luck with the sale!

thanks....yes there were some long cracks along the corner of the pad that the previous owner was going to simply rout out and repair from the outside. The floor boards were solid but I didn't like the sponginess in on small area so I cut the floor out. Looking at the Ski locker I noticed there was a gap between the pad where the core should be...there was none. It was obvious the core and stringers had to be done. We grinded everything out sanded down the entire hull to begin glassing. My plan was to fix the routed out cracks from the inside out, then laying a new fiberglass base. Bed in the core and glass. Cut stringers to fit...glass and then floor.
I have 23 Yards of 1708 biax and 3 yards of 24oz weave. About 8 gallons of Expoxy and Hardner and 15 quarts of Cabosil. I also have the Core Material (Plascore honeycomb Core).Last edited by mran; 07-20-2017 at 07:18 AM.
