Nobody even talks about the "Bark" the Chryslers make running that nice big above water exhaust. They are loud, totally different sound than the Merc's, out here you can hear the Chrysler/ Chryslers, coming a mile away, more if its running the canyon, its obnoxiously Awesome!

Oh yes, without stacks and above water sounds sweet. Even the difference in stroke and bore between the 96 , 99 or 103 ci give a unique sound. Personally like the 103 at 0.040 over to 105ci sound at 6000. Another is the same big bore and long stroke with 5cyl , yup.

Restoration is going slow at the moment but will start picking up in the next week or so. Been super busy getting all the storage boats out and also have had a terrible cold for the last three weeks....keeps hanging on and won't go away. I have two coats of light blue back round color sprayed on the deck now and am starting to block sand it down before gelcoat/flaking the deck. Hope to have it done in July sometime. Once I'm able to concentrate on it things should move along much more quickly.
