    Question Fastest Stoker Ever?

This beautiful boat was known to be in the 140mph range BEFORE the 300hp nitrous shot.
Mike H has switched over to alcohol as well.

I believe so, Mike said he had a 22 Stoker as well (if I understood him correctly). Back in 97 he had well over $100,000 in this boat and motor.
From what I understand there were only two of the 20ft SST ever made in I.O. form.
The wood work in the floor is a work of art. I understand a backup seat came with the boat but the original owner couldn't bring himself to screw in the base.
I have no idea what the gear ratio on the Blackhawk is but the counter rotating 29" wheels are hard to come by.

Mark (Jackpunx) Halyak had one that supposedly ran 143 with Al driving in Elsinore during setup. Big inch, quad rotor setup. I believe Tony Scarlata and another guy partenered to buy the boat from Mark. Not sure where it went from there.

This boat originally sold to Steve S. as a hull with interior and trailer only. Boat is over powered and was never tested by JCM with a blackhawk, Steve was made aware. The new owner needs to be very careful.

Mark H was at Elsinore for a photo shoot when I was do a predelivery test of a new boat. Mark asked me to drive it. That boat was built with a 500HP Merc which he had changed to the blower motor and yes over powered and warned. Its had a couple owners since Mark.

I think I saw pictures of the boat at speed when it was for sale. I did not want a ride.

Somehow it seems a bit more sane in a larger boat.

    Yes Kevin.

Don't remember ( at the moment) who owned the boat in post 10 but he ran a blown flat bottom at one time. He repowered it after he bought it and current owner did as well, still over powered.

Mr Dunster had it somewhat overpowered when it ran 140..now Pierre has a mild boosted Teague 800.the old flatty (hullshot) goes way back, till it suffered heavy carnage at Camp far west, back in early/mid 90s?i remember radaring that flatty at 130 in 1/8 mile
