The 380 is a great hull. I have an old comp (light weight) hull. It rides smooth and is very forgiving. If you have the time to (or pay someone to) put some work into this boat you'll love it.

very cool, that one being a later generation with the different deck I think those were called 388s. Same as a 380, different deck (very small changes, as well as the windshield)
You'll love it, I'm about to start resto project on an 80 model myself!

I second this as well. He's helped me many times.
The floor you see falling apart in that boat used to be a wood floor. I'm guessing all the wood has rotted away and only left the thin fiberglass layer. When it's rebuilt try to keep the weight down and the boat will fly. A 200hp motor should get you into the high 80s low 90s.Last edited by Coupe427; 07-27-2017 at 07:44 AM.

He is right around the corner from me. Gonna be a winter project. My little shop is filled with crap dealing from the flood last year. I'm hopeful to have it all out by Sep. Then the little boat can be moved in and the fun begins.
