Hub kits... what's the big deal ?!

I just don't get it. Shopping for propeller hub kits on my mercury 115 pro XS. These hub kids vary in price from $20 to over $200! And there really is no exclamation for the differences. Can anybody enlighten me? Any places you rather purchase of kids at?
That is a ridiculous price variance!

Where do you buy the metal ones?
I'm finding it hard to swallow the $100 price tag for the ones I find online for the Merc 115 four stroke

For instance... 835257Q9 is the only p/n I can find that will mount on my 15 spline 2017 Merc 115 Pro XS. (NOT-command thrust)
    And it's $98 !!! Ridiculous...

Would this $30 hub kit work?

The solid metal hub kits are for hi perf props like choppers and cleavers. Dont think they make one for your motor.

That flo-torq 2 is what you need. They have a 3 that helps with excessive prop rattle but if you don't mind it then it's not worth the price. Also i *thought* the proXS only came with the bigger CT case.

EDIT: looked it up in our inventory, you can get it either way! We sell ALOT of the 2.1 motors but it's rare we sell one without the bigger case. Momma always said you should learn two new things everyday. Thats one today, now just one more! lol

Yep with the standard case use the flo-torq 2 hub.
