Vessel View
Have a boat in the shop with twin Verados and DTS with the original Vessel View, not sure of the year but thinking 2006ish. There is no junction box in this setup. Display is black and needs to be replaced. What are my replacement options and what will I need?

Vesselview 702 Multi-Engine https://www.veradoclubparts.com/VESS.../8m0110640.htm
or
Vesselview Link Multi-Engine http://www.veradoclubparts.com/VESSE.../8m0110641.htm
Plus a compatible Simrad or Lowrance MFD
both will require a Smartcraft 4 port hub and a NMEA 2000 network.Mark

Any way to get speed, depth etc from the Garmin into the Vessel View 702?

If the Garmin is NMEA 2000 compatible then yes, you can source that data into the Vesselview but the Simrad or Lowrance can provide all of that. The Garmin is probably not compatible, they don't usually play well with Navico products.

All that would be needed would be position, speed etc for the fuel economy to work. Not concerned about depth.

on that particular motor Garmin plays well with others OR you can do a Vessel View 7 to go in conjunction to the already installed Garmin unit in place of the old display, got a 2007 Vrod set up here with the same display issues and he chose to go to the new Vessel view hand held app and a 7 screen in dash
but to integrate you will needthe NMEA starter kit and the adaptor from merc to NMEA 2000 signal and the related backbone

FYI, Vesselview 7 is obsolete, replaced by Vesselview 702. And make sure you order the multi engine version.
