    21 ft Seebold Porpoising

Finally got my new motor on and got a chance to take the it out.

1 issue: When I get up to speed the boat start porpoising until I trim down. When I trim down there is not near enough bow lift.

Could this be an engine height issue? I didn't try playing with the engine height yet but thought I'd get some opinions.

    The motor is a new 2.5 200 efi with a 26 chopper.

I have an eagle I run mine 1.5 above the bottom it will bounce around 60, it goes away with more speed. I don't think the hull starts flying at that speed.

    Awesome,
I am going to be testing it all this weekend, thanks for chiming in, I'll use this as a starting point.

A hydraulic plate is nice for that as you can lower the motor a little when it's calm etc and get a little more lift.

Sweet set up. Lots of tunnels have a porpoise speed, engine height can be a factor but often just trim it down or power through.
