I have some shields iso 7840 fuel feed hose taken recently from my guide boat installed in 2001. Still in great shape. No deterioration at all. I run only ethanol fuel BTW. I didn't really need to replace it.... It is in that good of shape. This is the 368 series...

Yes, we are aware that we have to use USCG fuel line. We actually had an issue with a brand failing after only one year on my personal boat. I have been using this brand for a lot of years with no issues, but after only one year and the interior broke down, so I was shopping other brands. The manufacture said they would look into the issues and I have sent my lines to them to examine. I am not going to say who it is, because I think they had a bad run of product and I don't want to put them down. They have been good to me for years, so I just changed brands for now. I have Shield and Trident 365 series at the shop now and will be using it for now. Thanks, Todd

The A1 is for below decks and the B1 is for above decks such as from the splash well to the engine. But beware because the rigging tubes dump straight into the bilge on must boats, so I still use A1 in the rigging tubes then splice into a smaller line in the cowling.

Just stay away from the Silverado..... junk IMO
