Using a 2.5 150 block
Can you use a 2.5 150 rotating assembly and put all 2.5 200 external components on it? Thought everything inside is all the same. Not sure thanks.

You have a good 200 block with bad or no internals and want to put good internals you have from a 150? No problem. The porting is different in the blocks though as far as power goes. They also use different tuners, if you switching from 150 to 200 want to use the 200 tuner. The 150 tuner is a mile long,

I have a 200 with a one low cylinder and a 150 ready with no externals. Still good to use them or is the porting going to be a big difference?

It'll work with no problems, but you will loose some upper rpm power due to the less duration in the porting.

if your boat is heavy and lots of gear ,live well's use 150 tuner , more low end power, 200 tuner use for lighter boat
