I have one, I just need to hook it up. I tried the tan wire coming from the control box and it didn't work. I'm going to try the tan with blue stripe next. If it doesn't work I'll find somewhere to put a sender.

At the motor end there should be a tan wire w/bullet connector from the sender and another one going into the harness. Connect them together. Tan wire at control should work.

Also check the over heat alarm to make sure it functions correctly. Ground the buzzer to confirm it works. Ground it at the motor to check it. Also could put the sender in some boiling water to confirm it all works.

In the control box or on the harness under the dash....Small, black, about the size of a plastic bottle cap...

I measured my engine height using your method. Assuming the point of my nose cone is center of the prop shaft I had it about 1/2" above the bottom of the pad. I dropped it 1" so it's about 1/2" below the pad now and I'll go up from there. Could it being above the pad cause my handling problems ?

I wasn't over trimmed at all, I actually had it tucked under a little and it was still throwing a pretty good rooster tail . It was running pretty flat , almost felt like it needed more bow lift. I tried trimming it up slowly but the only thing that changed was the size of the tail. It almost felt like the ass end was trying to come around instead of chine walking. My old Varmint would chine walk but it could rock the steering wheel a little and get through it most of the time. I don't have the balls to run this one hard for more than a few seconds and I'm really not going very fast

Ass end trying to come around...that means too high or over trimmed or both

Remember srx is 14.25" diameter....gonna run lower than 14.5
