I have a 99 Triad V21 open bow for sale. It will run 100 if you want it too. Plenty of room for the family too.

Fastintn, I just picked up an 2008 24 Checkmate Plusare with a 2012 300XS. I have to say, I am more than impressed with the ride, speed and rough water capability. A lot of "gurus" bash Checkmates and I was one who kind of believed in the stigma attached to them. I have owned a few of them, and have to say, this is an excellent riding, solid hull, that took everything the Great South Bay could throw at it this past weekend. Had my wife and kids on it, 4 adults, and still ran 68-70 with 3/4 tank of gas. Mine is a closed deck and we were comfortable in the cockpit with room for 2 more. If you found one that's a bow rider, you would have even more room but lose the "cabin" and the porta potty, Mike

I really love the concept of opening the bow on this 21 v bottom. Just curious if there is a "twist" effect or issue with doing this. It seems that the gap in the dash would take some of the rigidity and strength away from the hull and allow some twisting/ Im curious how they made up for this effect. Im thing that would be cool to do to my 20 action marine. I like it

No twisting. Wally built a very good boat. It is very stable at high speeds. We had 5 200 plus men in it a few weeks ago, We was running 60 and I walked from the back to the front without it moving .

That's cool. I'm thinking that when the hull is being layed up isome changes were made to stringers and bulk heads. Has to be built stronger with this bow rider deck in mind. Cutting a deck away from an already closed bow boat might not be a good idea then.

The answer is a Checkmate 2400 BRX or Pulsare 2400 Bowrider with a Verado 400R! 80+ mph with a ton of room and storage! It will even crack 70mph with a Verado 300 Pro!
