Looks good. Nice and strong design. One thing though, I am wondering why they didn't cover the wood with glass? Is it painted with epoxy? Not dissing the job at all, just curious.

Wood thats 99% encapsulated in glass and any type of resin will never stay dry !! Water will always find a way to get into all those grains in the wood and travel end to end and if the glue line in the ply has gaps moisture will go every where !!,but once in will never get out ,so once wet will stay wet and will rot very quickly !.
Another reason to make ALL under floor areas with big opening at each end so air can flow through naturally , If this was done more often most of the ply wood floors and wooden stringer replacement jobs everyone just loves doing would last much longer ! natural Ventilation its called , also covering the boat and sitting a dehumidifier on the floor inside to dry and suck all and any moisture out from every where !! Yes we been through all this before !

A similar scenario happened with Ferro cement boats! if you paint all the fancy epoxy coatings on the outside you never paint the inside because IN A VERY SHORT TIME IT ALL PEELS OFF because the ferro needs to be able to breath so it can stay dry ! Simple and logical !!

Messing round with boats is fun !! the learning never stops ,even after more than 30 years there's always something new happening somewhere ! BUT somethings never change and some problems never go away and just keep reoccurring !!so moved into Composite Forensics , Now that something completely new !!
