Got stuck in some mud being polite to avoid some fishing boats, no good deed goes unpunished. Hauled boat, washed and flushed it, had some small particles coming out as the boat was running on a hose. Ran for 15-20 min on hose water was clean with no particles after 2-3 min. Anything else I need to do??

You have a screen on the port side low on the block that filters the water for the compressor. Follow the water hose from the comp down and remove the nipple fitting from the block. while it is out run the motor on the muffs for 30 secs or so to flush out the crud from the block. Re install cleaned filter and hose. If the engine comes up to temp ok and does not run cold the t-stats are ok. They are prone to getting stuff stuck in them and causing the engine to run cold. Run some weed whacker string into the tell tale from the compressor to clear it good.
