    Just to add the early BP ridge back had the bolt in mounts and the later had the mounts built in.
    Easy way to tell a 260 from a 280 from a distance is the snout area. 260 is straight and the 280 goes up.

    You also have 2 style of HP single ram saddles.
    The early does not have poly guides/wear pads.

    The other important thing the later 260 and 280 adapter plates was they have 2 tuner bolt pattern which allows you to use the stronger mounting base tuners.
