What time do you plan that for on Thursday PM, Mark?

This will be my first event. Sounds like its gonna be fun.
Will there be any sort of on the water/dock fuel station for gas hungry pigs?
Is there a particular boat ramp everyone is using?
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

Good morning! Thanks for the inquiry. There is gas at the ramp at Sunset Grill/Anchor Marine. It has 91 octane with no ethanol. It costs about 50 cents a gallon more than town, but it is convenient. Where are you coming from? What kind of boat? Can you make it up on Friday in time for the Tour of the Lakes which leave Sunset Grill/Anchor Marine at 2, but you would probably need to arrive in town by noon latest to get everything done (checking in with your lodging, launching your boat, etc.)

Those channel markers are not suggestions, there are some Jurassic park sized boulders off to the sides of that first channel by Kayes place. But its pretty easy, I suggest getting a lake map if a newb plans to venture out on their own.

Such a great event, kudos to the 3 lakes people for keepi,g this going. Its one of the few things I miss aboot, the great white north.

    Fuel for Shootout

As mentioned above ethanol free premium pump gas (91 octane) is available on the water.... It is also available in town at 2 locations.... one location has 110 octane race gas but we have no idea when it was delivered to the location... They use to sell a fair amount of it when the stock car track was running but that has been shut down for a couple of years. We do have a local VP Fuels distributor in the area that would be happy to get you some VP products if that is your choice of fuel.... Keep in mind they might not have every flavor but their # is 715-479-8192 and the name is Hicks Fuel and Oil. Really looking forward to this years event, everybody drive safe and we will see you in 2 weeks. Thanks, Mark

There is a Holiday gas station by me in Bloomington MN that sells 110 octane for $8/gal.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

I was unaware you could run aviation (AVGAS) in other than a plane, but assuming you can, the Eagle River Airport, 12 miles north of Three Lakes on the north end of Eagle River just off Rt. 45 North by the Derby Track. If you stay on Rt. 45 thru Eagle River, you'll go over the Eagle River bridge. The airport is about 1/2 mile further north on the left; turn where you see about 50 school buses parked.MENTION THE SHOOTOUT AT THE AIRPORT & get a 30 cent per gallon discount. The cost of that fuel today is $4.20 per gallon before our discount, or $3.90 net cost. The phone at the Eagle River Airport is 715-479-7442.

This is an event I need to attend. I wish I could have this year, but next year I want to be there for it.
Thank you for such a great event.

    Hi Greg,
We really look forward to meeting you, having heard so much from "Team Kneupl & the Hydrostream Junkies", (sounds kinda like a grarage band!). We are very proud of the event we have created, now in it's 10 year. Our little town of about 800 people get to see between 4,000 & 5,000 people roll in for the festivities and it has worked well. We would love to have you visit, so please go ahead & block out some time next summer prior to the 4th.

Anyone coming from the south that needs any type of "special fuel" you can get VP from Remington Oil on the south side of antigo which is about 50 miles south of three lakes. He has pretty much anything and everything.
