How high is the engine? All round use or top end? 2:1 gearcase? 30 small ear chopper if you can find one is my low buck choice. 30 ET if you have money.

I'd like it to be able to come out of the hole easy with a couple people in it. I just put the jack plate and motor on it today , I set the jackplate in the center of its adjustment slots and have the prop shaft about even with the pad . I'm going to try to finish rigging it this weekend so hopefully I'll be able to run it soon. I have it setup side steering with Seastar Pro steering , 3" Slidemaster plate . The only prop I have is a 4 blade Trophy 25p, I figured I would go ahead and try to find a better one

Yes to the EBay prop. Your Trophy should have good acceleration and run mid 60's

Does the price seem ok even though it needs a hub replaced?

It has a bite out of a blade plus hub trouble? I'd try my luck on some of the props for sale here than buy known issues. If it were my money...

Thanks for the advice. I've been looking but I'm not sure what to buy. The boat is almost ready to take for a test run. It's been a ton of work so far, hopefully it runs as good as it looks.

All v-6 props are the same except for the "fat shaft" series used on the racing lower units. I would run the prop u have before I bought any more. Need a starting point to move fwd. Get some vids of it running and see how it runs out.

There's a 27 srx in the marketplace that needs a polish that dropped price to $250. I like mine, and others seem to like it too.

I know that's what I should do but I'm getting excited about it as it comes together and ready to put a nasty looking prop on it !!

One prop will not do it all. I have 3 I run on my V-King. Depending on what I will be doing that day. ET for top speed. chopper for playing around with med load, and a tempest thru hub for a heavy load or for running in the rougher salt water areas. The trophy might work for a playing around prop. A real go fast prop will cost more and not be intended for everyday use.

They are fast props, I would try it if the price is right. One of the fastest props for the money. If you don't like it I may buy it from you
