******UMPBA 2017 Race Dates*****

Just want to start with a giant THANK YOU to all the racers, volunteers, sponsors and the staff at Bullheads to help make this all work.!!!
It was a great day of racing and the weather was awesome. We 43-45 boats (would have to count again)show up and kept us busy all day. The was just a sea of spectators with cars lined parked about 3/4 of mile down both sides of the road. I can't tell how many of them came to me to thank us for coming. Also heard from the Dewey fire dept things went well for them as well as Bullheads Bar and Grill.

Also the campground staff was absolutely blown away at how polite, fun and friendly all the racers and crew were. They also commented on how well everyone cleaned up after themselves. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I would like to thank you Jerry for all the hard work putting on a Event like this, you can imagine the time and effort just organising everything. Hats off to the tractor pullers who launched all of are boats, I don't think they took a break all day long. Also to the crew's on the start and finish boats what a job that must be, and all the other volunteers that helped make this race happen.
Congrats to Mark Kirby winning Lake Racer class. Guess there was some confusion who won the final, wish I could have been informed before my runner up plaque, Would have been less of a shocker. All in had a great time Racing on the Wisconsin River!!!! My old 1979 Evinrude 235 ran Amazingly coming up 36" short to a Mercury 2.5 260 not to Shabby. Hope to see ya all back at Albert Lea ~tr~

Scott I think lake racer 5 maybe be incorrect but not sure. I think 3rd place went to Chris Alby not Bob Albee. If I remember correctly Bob had a mechanical issue. I could be wrong and as most know I suffer from CRS lol.
