1995 STV River Rocket
Sorry to all the guys standing in line but the boat is SOLD!!!!!! Guy who bought it is F-ing awesome and will give her a GREAT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am selling my baby!!!! I will be detailed in my description/pictures as to keep the questions to a minimum....I've been criticized before on taking up too much space with my last boat yrs ago but I want to post what I would like to see in a 4 sale add so here it goes….
Boat:
-Summerford built boat with supposedly the ONLY metal flake put into one of these boats (a couple peeps have said there was another one or two and I’m not claiming there isn’t….I just haven’t seen any proof)
-Approx 650-700lb boat that was cut down to a 16" mid…..some may know this boat as (Instigator Gary) used to own this rig.
-Currently rigged for a Mercury
-The interior was just done and has black/silver carbon fiber style inlays with a better design padding underneath for more comfort.
-Full custom canvas cover (gray) that will fit a 260 style cowl, alien, and probably a 300x hood.
-Will come with the windshield if you want it too
Rigging:
-It has Hydrodynamics jack plate built custom for a 15” mid to fit w/ hydraulic steering & minimal setback w/ an extra 6 degrees in trim angle added to it.This boat will work with a 20” as well……just need a different jack plate.
-It includes all the gauges w/GPS speedo, Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering, twin blinker switch trim, foot throttle, and separate aluminum shifter…..(both with cables)
-Has the stock 25-ish gallon fuel cell
-Interstate battery
Trailer:
-All aluminum except some steel gusseting on the front side by the hitch
-Has two HUGE bunks that support the boat
-L.E.D. lights
-New bearings, seals, and caps two years ago before a trip to Jasper and minimal miles since
-Heavy duty winch
-This is somewhat of a customization that was done by someone at some point but it is a GREAT trailer…..just not a sexy Strongback lol!
-I believe I have a title for the trailer but don't quote me (not needed in WI)
I’m sure there is some chit I’m missing in the details but I can answer any question you may have. Also there is a high perf fuel pump, high perf external trim pump, and EGT setup available…..pending on necessity and price as well. This boat has been great to me and has never let me down. Gel coat is in great shape and always stored indoors w/cover on. This boat has seen 118mph with me and a stock 280 with more on the table. I am very picky so I will post pics of the pad and the two spider cracks that are in the gel coat (not structural at all). I hide nothing and want everyone to see everything! People on this site can attest to the caliber of this boat.
BOAT, TRAILER, and RIGGING…..$12k. Has a clear title….located near Milwaukee,WI
I may be able to help with delivery if you are patient but I cannot guarantee it being delivered to you within a week as I have to work around my friends availability to make a trip. Also, I get on this site daily whenever I get off of work so any PMs or posts will be answered in the order they were received.

It sure would look nice with a 280 on it. I am sure 120 is easily doable with a
32 lab cleaver.

For sure.....I only tried once to get a top speed with one prop and my best guess at motor height. I'm sure there is room for improvement if someone put a little time into it. I just played on the lakes and tried once at the end of the season, then it went to storage and in spring I converted to a more drag race "friendly" setup.

Thanks Greg....wish I could keep it but I want a new house and this is one of the drawbacks
It has been brought to my attention so I want to describe the 4 pads on the deck......they look like crap from me cleaning the chit outta every part of the boat but those lol. They are stick on traction pads for stepping onto the boat and just need some scrubbing to make them dark again but they are not a repair or blemish to the glass.
Also I looked in my file today and found whatever this paper is that I got from the guy I bought the boat from (doesn't look like a title but is a legit form from MN) and that will go with the boat if it is necessary to document the trailer in the state it goes to.I have a boat or two.... that I never get to drive
