1974 to 1976 omc v4 crankcase or powerhead

As the title says, I need a powerhead or bare crankcase with a 3.5" bore to fit a 1976 135 motor.
    Thanks.

A buddy of mine has an old 135 that's a runner. He might let it go, but I bet he would want to keep the heads! I think it's a '74. PM me if you want me to ask him about it.

They have a smaller combustion chamber for higher compression. Some race classes don't permit "modified" parts but will allow swapping "stock" parts that are interchangeable. So instead of cutting the heads on a 140, you find a set of early 135 heads to boost the compression and it's "legal."

Those early 135's have 145-150 psi cranking compression if they're healthy. It's too much for today's pump gas. If you run a tank of 87-89 octane through one you'll burn it down. Best to use some later 140 heads anyway, or take some timing out for recreational use.
