That is a well built boat. It will not fall apart ever. I love seeing boats built for the long run and able to have any power on it you choose. Very, very cool boat.....Excellent job with it. Can't wait to see a running vid and performance specs....

Different for sure and I like it. As has been said I can`t wait to see some performance numbers. I know like all new design`s there will be some "tweeking" so I will be patient.

Do the outside sponsons have any dihedral? They look very flat and has this hull ever been tested or will you be the first? Boat looks great can't wait to see the finished product.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am of your work! your facility looks to be about 10k sq ft? what did you do before purchasing the Talon molds? obviously you are not a newcomer to boat building. you are inspiring me to get my ass in gear. why do you let all that hair to stay on the piece after cured? at sea ray we always took a razor knife and trimmed that off just as it was kicking. fun out

Thank you for the compliment. The main building there is 18,000 SF. I also use another building that belongs to my dad that is about 8000 SF. We use that building for storage mostly. If we hand layup, I like to leave extra glass over the sides for a few reasons. Instead of driving a wedge inside the mold, we bend the glass over, 90 degrees, wet it, let it dry and use it as leverage for applying pressure on the part to make it come out of the mold easier with wedges. I also, like leaving extra glass over and wetting it out, so the tops of the part will not be dry. Just a bunch of little reasons like that. I try to keep anything away from the molds that will damage them. My guys are good and cautious, but getting things like razor blades close to them will sometime resort in damage to the top of the molds, because accidents happen. When we vacuum bag or infuse, there is nothing above the top of the molds. Thanks, Todd

I forgot to answer one of your questions. This is probably the best explanation to that question http://www.screamingeagleboats.com/about.html

It has been tested with both outboard and Jet at one time, I came across the outboard version after we started the build. It has very little deadrise if any, center pod is below the sponsons. There are a few things we could do to make it faster but want to test it myself and see what it needs.

The angle on the sponsons, flatter is faster but you can get a porpoise if too flat, at least this was how it is on a true tunnel.
