BUT somethings never change and some problems never go away and just keep reoccurring !!so moved into Composite Forensics , Now that something completely new !!

Sorry this picture is probably going to be upside down. This is the project that started all this. The floor is in, the seat base is in and I am working on a semi permantly mounted 12 gallon tank along with the battery in the very back. No longer will the tank be under the bow.
This has taught me a lot about epoxy-glass and I am impressed how much stronger the hull is. Thanks for all your help and can't wait to get back at it! Don't go anywhere, I got more questions!

The front wall of the seat base has a two inch wide gap for ventilation and water to pass thru. I have to make the drain in the back wall and seal it. The previous owner put a wood floor in and used some sort of white sealer or paint. It was molded and soft and my understanding is it was less than a year old. Therefore I have been overly cautious on the sealing. I am using epoxy and biaxial cloth. The inside of the seat base is completely sealed with epoxy.
Does your boat have core construction?

THANKS!
This is the way I interpreted your instructions. Worked great imo. I was intending on 3/4 wood, but after seeing the results, 3/4 wood have been overkill dramatically, and way to heavy. Thanks again for your knowledge, you have also set the formula for the rest of the build.
