Starting a new 21 Liberator. Maybe a 400R?

I know Paul pretty well. A lot of his problem with breaking stuff is because he runs his Motors super high with transom pickups. That is a lot harder on the cases and props

Just FYI,merc wont warrantee these 400s if you use transom pickup..NO BS
Paul is getting moneys worth from Merc,but I am sure the down time is annoying

Boat was sold today. Still gonna try a Mercury CNC 34" cleaver soon. Boat went to Orlando. Look what I took in trade.

Randy, what's the 28OBX running with the 300xs's?? I would guestimate 88-90mph??

I have not run it yet but I know it won't run that fast. They should have put 20 inch Motors on it with sportmaster gearcases but they did not. I will probably run it next week

bullheadbully has broke TWO now on his Nordic 28ss!!!someone mentioned they have spun-weld propshafts...WTF.supposably Merc has bought him TWO CNC 5 blades!!!!!

"Part" of the issue is that they are 5-blade propellers. They don't slip. Nature of the beast. But getting to be necessary, as the torque of these motors escalates... Just time to work on the next weak link in the chain is all.

Congrats on the sale. How did those max5s end up running on the 25? Loved the colors on that boat black and yellow are one of my favorites did it stay local?

Never ran the Max 5's on the 25. I heard from a couple people that the 300xs motors won't plane off with them, so I sent the LH back. They cost $1800 each, so I didn't want to chance it.
