Batteries
Ok I would like to know what the racers are running as far as batteries go I am running a optim group 51 yellow top and a 7lb Braille battery for the 24volt trim the two togeather weigh about 32lbs but I was trying to lighten the batteries up and still have enough juice to run the trim and a A1000 fuel pump only have a 16 amp system any suggestions ??? thanks James

Antigravity seems to be the latest thing. I bought 3 of them. One for cranking and two for 24 volt trim. I think the combined weight of all three is 10 pounds. I was also told the the A-1000 was a battery killer. IDK I sold mine day before yesterday and replaced it with a fuel pump a lot of racers use that is smaller, lighter, and draws less current. I hope it works for me.
