    Thats a nice piece.
    I can personally say that I always wanted a super short drag ram (for the cool factor) until one day I realized how useless they are in the real world. A group of us pulled up the the shore and we all tilted our units up to coast to the shores edge and park. This one guy who had a drag ram couldn't hardly lift his motor and it dragged across the bottom hitting the rocks, sand and whatever was down there, you sure could hear it. I told him to lift his motor and he said it was all the way up. Thats all it took to realize I would never want such a short ram, at least for a non dedicated race boat. So I'd rather just have a trimmed down ram on a 15" mid for river and lake use.
    So when i get my cut down 15" mid back and I'm not happy with the stock 280 ram length. I'm gonna have to have it cut down. I'm running CLE's so its not gonna hit, but we'll see. STV's don't like running with trim.
    If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

    If its a 16" you can use a full size ram JMO

    That is really nice work... I'm messing with Yamaha stuff though. Easy cut off and weld on when you have friends who weld....
