Can anyone chime in on how this runs compared to a starliner checkmate?

The Stream is faster and rides better. Have had both! No comparison at all.

Wow, nice looking boat. This should sell fast. might be a little under powered but that can be changed. I have a V21Triad with a 280 on it and mid 90's is about the best you can do. Reason being is the open bow. Wally told me I loose 7 to 8 MPH because of the open bow. However if you cover the nose up you can recover some of that MPH.
If I didn't have the V21 this boat would be on it way North.
Awesome looking boat and a real family machine. Good luck selling this beautiful boat.

I can tell you that his boat has been too 98mph with the 280 on it with very little testing. I'm sure it could touch 100 with no issue. Yes we did have to have the bow cover on it when hitting that speed.

I will I'll try to get a pad pic.

I will let ya know we do have a lot of interest in the boat and if your truly interested better jump on it...river runs are fast approaching...

The last time this was up for sale they wanted 12500 for the hull. This is the fourth motor on it. Don't buy with a 1990 motor. Hull is worth under 10,000. Motor 0

Get a life troll!! What a jackass comment!! Nice third post in 6 years. This boat is worth every bit of $10,000 ++ on an aluminum trailer. Motor worth $2,000 any day. Seller can ask whatever he wants for his boat. This asking price is very reasonable. You should think before you post crap! Why do you care so much? Administrator should delete your post and ban you

1990 freshwater motor, not salt, runs in the 70's. That is what most people would be happy with. I think the boat is nice. I would have considered this if I saw it before I bought my Starliner. I had to put a 250 on my starliner to see the 70's.

Rick, no pm received. Without resorting to name calling. What I know is this boat asking price was 12500 in 2011. It is 6 years older and you and Rob seem to think they go up in value.

one for sale last month in Bellingham with a 250 for under 9000.

so my comment stands. That's what I think.

Nope, don't think they go up in value. Regardless of what he asked for in 2011 the asking price is NOT unreasonable and what others have sold theirs for doesn't set the value of a particular boat. Sometimes people sell low due to financial issues etc.

Who are you, The buy and sell market place police? The only thing out of line here is your negative crap post. My comments still stands as well. Get a life! Why would you come crap on the mans add? You've posted nothing in 6 years that contributes to this site and now you come on here trolling?
