Water temp gauge on a 2.4 carb

Where would be a good place to install the sensor on a water temp guage on a carbed 200 2.4.

Couldn't you just put a brass T where the water pressure gauge goes and use the other side of the T for your gauge. Don't wanna see you crank in a pipe thread hole and stress out the block and crack it under heat and vibration loads. The aluminum is usually built up where ever the factory has a hole in the block.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

I thought about that and I think the waters cooler there

i looked at both heads a lot first and to see if there was any noticable reason not too couldn't find any so I drilled and tapped both sides just in case I want to move it at some time or run a second gauge for any reason.
