    omc v4 stator amperage

    I'm working on a 1976 Evinrude 135. It has had the powerhead changed and I'm not exactly sure what it is. If I need to buy ignition parts it lists a 6 or 12 amp system. Is there any way to tell what I have by looking at it? I'm thinking it's a 12 since it has a power trim system but not for sure.
